This week, House of Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi spoke in congress for eight hours straight (set a new record) about immigrant youth. During her time, she was able to share stories about fellow dreamers, and called for passage of the dream act. In the article you’ll read how many dreamers are currently feeling. Millions of Dreamers have no protection from deportation, and those who are protected are becoming increasingly vulnerable. Trump and the people that are against it are making hard for undocumented youth. One fellow undocumented youth says “Trump is killing DACA, putting me at risk, and now says he will only protect me if the country buys his plans to deport out families and end family immigration for all. It is blackmail, pure and simple.” It’s either they stay or their family leaves.
